Current Training Provision

We organise one- and two-day professional training courses in a wide range of ecological and environmental topics. The emphasis of our courses is on the practical application of standard methodologies, techniques and identification skills. They are specifically designed for individuals working in consultancy, local authorities, developers, etc., who wish to develop their skills and knowledge in specific environmental topics. The courses are run by subject experts with many years of experience in professional training and teaching.

Most of our training courses are held in Sheffield or the Peak District. We also run courses at a variety of locations across the UK. In addition we can offer bespoke ‘in house training’ packages to suit your needs.

Prices for a one-day session are £150 for Consultants and Developers, £100 for Local Authorities, Agencies and NGOs. A limited number of places on some courses are available to volunteers at a discounted rate of £50 - please enquire for details. There is discount for multiple bookings and early bookings – see the training course leaflet for details (click the link below to download leaflet).
